Festival presents an annual programme rich in classical music, theatre, opera,
and dance. The festival runs for 3 weeks in late summer; for 2011 this will be
from 12th August - 4th September.
The Edinburgh Fringe is the extremely popular open-access arts festival which runs in parallel with the Edinburgh International Festival from 5th - 29th August, 2011.
